What’s the difference between private label, custom manufacturing, and wholesale?
Private label is our pasta in our bags, with your private label tag. Custom manufacturing is pasta made from your raw ingredients; we can fill any bag or box you have delivered to our facility, or use our bags. Wholesale is stocking our own brands, Plentiful Pantry® and Zpasta®, in your store.
Can I sell pasta under my own brand?
Yes, through private label (our pasta with your private label tags) or custom manufacturing (your ingredients, made by us).
Do you make pasta from my ingredients?
Bring us your recipe or your own ingredients, and we’ll turn them into bronze-cut, slow-dried pasta. We can even fill a bag or box you send us.
Can I buy organic einkorn pasta?
Yes. Wholesale buyers get our organic einkorn pasta through our sister company, Grand Teton Ancient Grains. For einkorn under your own brand, see private label or custom manufacturing.
What is the minimum for private label or custom manufacturing?
Our minimum is between 700 and 1,200 lbs, depending on the cut and how much it takes to fill a dry room. Filling the whole room matters, because that’s how the pasta dries evenly and gets the flavor and texture you love in artisan pasta. Give us a call, and we’ll walk you through the rest, from shape to shelf.

What is the wholesale minimum?
Regular wholesale orders have a Minimum Qty of 6 per item. For larger, recurring orders, ask us about high-volume wholesale.
How long do private label and custom manufacturing orders take?
Most orders ship in 4 to 6 weeks. Slow drying is what gives our pasta its texture, and good things take a little time.
What are the steps?
Five steps: research & development; ordering packaging supplies and placing your pasta order; packaging supplies (and any ingredients you supply) arriving at our Salt Lake City facility; making your order; and shipping it to you. Every project has its own variables, so these are general guidelines.
How fast do orders ship?
Wholesale orders usually ship within 2 to 3 business days. Private label and custom runs ship when your pasta’s ready, and we’ll keep you posted every step of the way.
Is your facility certified?
We’re GMP certified, a certified organic handler, and Scroll K kosher certified, so you can stock our pasta with confidence.
What dies do you use?
Bronze dies are our standard. They give pasta a rough, bronze-cut texture that holds onto sauce. We also run non-bronze dies by special order.
Are your colors and flavors natural?
Yes. Every color and flavor in our pasta comes from real food ingredients, like spinach, beet root, butternut squash, oleoresin paprika, squid ink, and lemon oil.
Is your pasta organic?
Our organic einkorn pasta is made with stone-milled, certified organic einkorn semolina, and we are a certified organic handler. Our traditional pasta is made with un-enriched durum semolina.
Can I use my own packaging?
For custom manufacturing, yes. We can fill any bag or box you have delivered to our facility. Private label uses only the bags we provide, with your private label tag.
Who designs the private label tags?
You pick the pasta, we fill our bags, and your brand goes on the tag. We’ll send you the dieline for the tag, or your designers can take it from there. If you need a designer, we’ve got you covered.
Where do you ship?
We ship wholesale orders to all 50 states, including Hawaii and Alaska.
How do I get a quote for private label or custom manufacturing?
Request a quote and tell us your shapes, ingredients, estimated pounds per order and how often you’ll order, packaging, timeline, and where the finished pasta ships. Rough numbers are fine to start.
How do I open a wholesale account?
Fill out the wholesale account request form. After review, we’ll send you a username and password to sign in to the shop.
How do I see wholesale pricing?
Wholesale is for approved retail accounts. Once you’re set up, log in to see prices and order Plentiful Pantry, Zpasta and our other brands right from the shop.
How do I place a wholesale order?
Sign in and order online through our secure checkout, or call 801-977-9077 to place an order.
Can I talk to a real person?
Yes. Call 801-977-9077 anytime and talk to a real person on our team, or email sales@intermountainpasta.com.
