How custom manufacturing works

You bring the ingredients. We make the pasta.

Want your pasta in your own packaging? We can fill any bag or box you have delivered to our facility. Or choose our plastic bags with a tag.

Questions

Custom manufacturing, answered

Quick answers on custom pasta manufacturing: your recipe, your ingredients, your packaging.

What’s custom manufacturing?

Bring us your recipe or your own ingredients, and we’ll turn them into bronze-cut, slow-dried pasta. We can even fill a bag or box you send us.

Can you make my recipe?

We’d love to! We start with research & development together to nail your shape, color, flavor and packaging.

Where do I send my ingredients and packaging?

To our facility at 265 West Plymouth Ave., Salt Lake City, UT 84115, once your order’s placed.

Is there a minimum run?

Our minimum is between 700 and 1,200 lbs, depending on the cut and how much it takes to fill a dry room. Filling the whole room matters, because that’s how the pasta dries evenly and gets the flavor and texture you love in artisan pasta. Give us a call, and we’ll walk you through the rest, from shape to shelf.

How long does a custom run take?

Most orders ship in 4 to 6 weeks. Slow drying is what gives our pasta its texture, and good things take a little time.

How does my finished pasta get to me?

Wholesale orders usually ship within 2 to 3 business days. Private label and custom runs ship when your pasta’s ready, and we’ll keep you posted every step of the way.

Is your facility certified?

We’re GMP certified, a certified organic handler, and Scroll K kosher certified, so you can stock our pasta with confidence.

Can you make non-bronze die pasta?

Yes, by special order. Bronze dies are our standard, and non-bronze die pasta is available if you’d like a smoother, glossier finish. Just mention it on your quote.

What do you need from me for a quote?

Just the basics: your shapes, ingredients, about how many pounds and how often, your packaging, timeline and where it’s shipping. Rough numbers are totally fine.
